Tim Chan - Media

Tim Chan is the Associate Vice-President of Commerce at Penske Media Corp. In this role, he oversees lifestyle, shopping and e-commerce coverage for PMC's entertainment brands, including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard, in addition to Rolling Stone. Tim got his start in television as a producer at MuchMusic. He was also the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Corduroy Magazine - an award-winning arts and culture bi-annual.
Nicole Demerse - Screenwriting

Nicole Demerse’s passion for storytelling has taken her into writing and producing on a diverse array of productions, including; primetime drama and comedy, teen drama, family comedy, television movies and animation. Having worked her way up the television writing ranks on more than three dozen series, Nicole is now in development on several of her own series and is also a Governor of the Television Academy.
Kelly Graham-Scherer - Film & TV Production

Kelly Graham-Scherer is VP Business Development for the MBS Group, the world’s largest provider of sound stages, studio consulting and film and television production equipment. She moved to LA in 2009 after successfully bidding on a contract with the Ontario government to market to US clients and drive business in the screen-based industries. She can provide expert advice on the logistics of filmmaking and the many facets of global physical production.
Trina Hendry - Hospitality & Tourism

Trina Hendry offers more than two decades of experience as a marketer, senior publicist and social media specialist in hospitality and travel and tourism in the US and Canada. She has represented both luxury and boutique hotels, restaurants and destinations, including Thompson Hollywood and Tommie Hollywood, Terranea Resort, Alisal Guest Ranch, Mother Wolf, Ka'teen, and the Beverly Hills Convention & Visitors Bureau. She moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and recently launched a road tripping business called One California Day, which plans surprise day trips outside of Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. She can provide expert advice on how to build a successful career in travel and tourism.
David Ivkovic - Real Estate

David Ivkovic is originally from Ottawa, and lived in Toronto before moving to Los Angeles in 2010. With real estate experience in both Canada and the US, David specializes in LA real estate as well as Canadians relocating to Los Angeles. As Chairman of Canadians Abroad, he is proud to help support, connect and organize events for Canadians living in LA.
Arwen Widmer Bobyk - Diplomacy

Arwen Widmer Bobyk is a career diplomat with over 23 years of experience in the Canadian federal public service. Currently she is Consul for Political and Cultural affairs at the Canadian Consulate General in Los Angeles. Arwen’s superpower is connecting people to make magic happen. She looks forward to being a mentor in our community!
Natalie Wray - Nursing

Natalie Wray was born in New Westminster, BC and completed her Bachelor's in Nursing Science in 2006 in Vancouver. She began travel nursing in the US in 2007 and she moved to California in 2009. She earned her Master’s degree at Loma Linda University specializing as an Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist with certification in the critical care and palliative care specialties. Natalie can help individuals who want to enter the field of nursing or for those who are already in nursing who are considering obtaining their advanced practice in the field.
