In Erin’s current capacity as President of the Board of Directors, Erin oversees the operations, finances and events of Canadians Abroad of Southern California.
Erin hails from Toronto and is a proud Queen’s University graduate. While living in Canada, Erin served as a long time senior policy advisor to the Hon. Jim Bradley and Hon. Caroline Di Cocco in Ontario’s Provincial government at Queen’s Park. For ten years, Erin advised on the government’s key portfolios including film & tv, transportation, policing and advancing the climate change agenda. Erin also worked on numerous local and central election campaigns in strategic communications and on tour.
Upon moving to California in 2014, Erin consulted in communications and public relations and worked in business development for the president of a publicly listed global advertising technology firm in Silicon Beach.
Erin is a community activator and devotes her spare time to volunteering with several local community groups. She was recently granted a volunteerism award from the State of California for her involvement with a local public school.
Erin currently resides in Santa Monica with her husband Clark and two sons Clark Thomas, Sebastian and dog, Yogi.
