DOWNTOWN WALKING TOUR

ART DECO ARCHITECTURAL TOUR OF LOS ANGELES

On Saturday June 16th, approximately 24 Canadians Abroad members and friends went on a two hour downtown walking tour of some of the more interesting examples of art deco architecture in the city.  Planned in conjunction with The LA Conservancy, the buildings of interest included the Parisian-inspired Oviatt Building, the brilliant green Sun Realty Building, and the turquoise-blue Eastern Building.  Following the walk, some of the group enjoyed a casual lunch at the Biltmore Hotel.

Many thanks to members Joe & Penny Stetch for organizing the event.
