Mohammad Ahmad, BA, LL.B

Mohammad is the Director of the Vancouver office specializing in expatriate taxation as it relates to Canadians living and working around the world. He has over 10 years experience providing expatriate tax services to corporate and individual clients. Prior to joining Trowbridge, Mohammad spent 5 years with Ernst & Young in their Vancouver and Toronto offices providing expatriate tax services to a broad range of Canadian, US and UK clients.

He is a partner of Trowbridge Professional Corporation, an independent member firm of The Global Tax Network based in Toronto, Canada.

Paul Bains, MBA, CFP, CIM

Paul is a Chartered Financial Planner particularly active in providing investment and financial planning advice to expatriates in the cross border community.

Paul is a discretionary Portfolio Manager with 18 years of investment advisory experience and leads his firm’s cross border practice. Pacifica Partners Capital Management is a cross border investment management firm fully licensed in both BC and Ontario as well as throughout the US. The firm specializes in the management of RRSPs, RRIFs and pensions for Canadians now resident in the U.S., in addition to the management of US retirement plans held by residents of Canada.

Catherine L. Haight, Haight Law Group, PLC

Catherine L. Haight is the founding member of Haight Law Group, PLC in Los Angeles, California.  She is admitted to practice law in the state of California and has been practicing immigration law since 1989, specializing in business and sports related matters.  Ms. Haight obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law.  She has authored numerous articles published by the American Immigration Lawyers Association on such subjects as PERM, H-1B visas, L-1 visas, and the immigration consequences of business mergers and acquisitions.  She has been the invited speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on such subjects as general business immigration law, legal ethics, labor certification, and employer sanctions law.
