Québec is taking over Los Angeles this September with "Québec in Hollywood" - a three-week celebration of Québec creativity and excellence (September 9-25, 2011).
Slated events include a Québec film festival at the Egyptian Theatre, performances by top bands and comedy acts on renowned stages, a Montréal fashion runway show at Hollywood & Highland Center, restaurant tastings crafted by top Québécois chefs, a green transportation design symposium, gallery exhibitions and more.
All performances and events will take place in and around Hollywood.

Planned events include:
9/9 Hard Rock Café: Free show by Québec rock bands, The Respectables, Steve Hill, Tailor Made Fable and Dance Laury Dance.
9/12-24 David Lawrence Gallery: Portraits of Marilyn Monroe by celebrated expressionist, Corno.
9/12-17 The Grill on Hollywood: Chef Jean-Pierre Curtat of the 5 Diamond AAA-rated Nuances Restaurant at the Casino de Montréal, presents a unique menu featuring some of Québec's best products.
9/15 Comedy Store: Sugar Sammy, named "One Of 10 Rising Comedy Talents From Around The World" by the Hollywood Reporter, performs at the Comedy Store, with opening act, Daniel Tirado.
9/16-18 Egyptian Theatre: Québec in Hollywood partners with the American Cinematheque to host "Québec in Hollywood Films: The Other North American Cinema." Opening night will be a red carpet affair with appearances by Hollywood celebrities originally from Québec. The mini-festival will feature five highly acclaimed international premiere or award-winning films.
9/19-24 Public Kitchen & Bar, Roosevelt Hotel: Chef/Owner Laurent Godbout of Chez l'Épicier presents a customized Québec inspired menu for Hollywood.
9/21 El Rey Theatre: Golden Voice Entertainment presents a special night with Québec indie rockers Patrick Watson, the Besnard Lakes, Malajube and folkie band the Barr Brothers.
9/21 The Art Center College of Design Forward Motion: Advancing Mobility in California & Québec: The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, one of the world's most prestigious university-level design institutions, is partnering with the Québec Government Office in Los Angeles to hold a half-day symposium focusing on sustainable transportation.
9/22 Hollywood & Highland Center, Fashion & Opéra Fashion Show: The spring and summer 2012 collections from six of Montréal's most acclaimed designers will be showcased in a production helmed by Groupe Sensation Mode set against a backdrop of live performances by Opéra de Montréal. Designers will include Barilà, Dubuc, Denis Gagnon, Mackage, Renata Morales, and Marie Saint Pierre.
9/25 Kodak Theatre, Iris: Journey through the world of cinema with the premiere of "Iris," the latest sensation from Cirque du Soleil.
9/9-25 Roosevelt Hotel: Daily Québec Happy Hours featuring a special menu with Québec drinks and appetizers. Monday-Thursday at the Tropicana bar and Friday-Sunday at the Library bar.
