GRIMES plays the Echo on Fri. Feb. 24th,
a great opportunity to see one of Canada's new young artists on the rise.

Claire Boucher, also known as Grimes, is a musician who sings and plays keyboards.   Boucher was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She moved to Montreal, Quebec and started the "group" Grimes, and is part of the music scene surrounding Arbutus Records. In May 2011 she opened for Lykke Li on her North American Tour. She is based out of Montreal.

In January 2012, Grimes announced on her Twitter account that she had signed with record label 4AD. The label is set to release her a full-length LP, Visions, in February 2012 in the United States and March 2012 in other countries with Arbutus releasing in Canada.
