The exhibition entitled, "The Dynamic Landscape" presents new paintings, drawings, and video by Pasadena-based artist Michael Markowsky. All of the artwork included has been inspired by the artist's travels through the landscape. Markowsky begins by making drawings while riding inside or on top of moving cars, buses, trains, boats and airplanes. Afterwards, he transforms the drawings into dynamic paintings with vibrant colors contrasted with areas of exposed canvas.
